Catholic Family RE Class Resources

Faith Formation K-5 Lessons for 2022-2023 will be available by September, 2022

#1 - Attending Sunday Mass

Please attend Sunday Liturgy via live stream each week. Find each each week on our website home page. Go to Home Church Sunday tab on our website to Prepare - Participate and Process mass each week.

#2 - St Mary Press Lessons

We are opting to keep this very simple.

Each family will have the same lesson for all grades. K, 1, 3, 4, 5:

Year 2 Sacrament Preparation has a separate curriculum.

Each family will receive a binder with the year's lessons to give you the option to take it home and continue your faith discussions
and mission plans.

For 2nd Year Sacrament prep -

Parent Guide for teaching St. Mary Press Lessons. If you have a family who has non-sacramental preparation and Sacramental preparation students, your whole family will study the Sacrament Preparation Curriculum. Can we (any of us) learn everything we need to know about Forgiveness and Reconciliation or the Holy Eucharist? So each family member will focus on Sacraments and Liturgical year with your Sacramental Preparation Student.

2nd Year Reconciliation Retreat will be on Tuesday, November 29. We open the doors from 3pm-7pm. This is a parent led retreat. You can come when it is convenient for you and your child. It will take about 1.5 hours to complete.

  • In addition - check out our special Sacrament learning page - 1st Eucharist resources are on the 2nd half of page.

Passing on our Catholic Faith to our kids

#1. Of all the things you can do for your family, the most important thing would be to attend weekly mass together. We want you to stay connected to St. Patrick Spiritual Family and keep close to God! Making this a priority will help your family grow in faith. It truly brings you peace that only God can give.

#2. Joe Paprocki from Loyola press has created "pop-up" Catechesis. Short videos to share ways we live out our Catholic Faith!
