St. Patrick Youth (SPY)

SPY (7th through 12th) Upcoming Events

We have put together a couple of different events for our teens to participate in together as a community throughout the summer! Each event will require a parental consent form to be submitted, with the social events requiring a fee to participate. We have a variety to choose from but if we have a group of teens wanting to get together for something else over the summer, let me know and I'm happy to organize it! If cost is an issue though, please talk to us because we'd love for all our teens to be involved!

July Service Opportunities


Community Service Month

This month we are offering three different opportunities for our teens to volunteer within the community. We ask that every teen commits to doing service in the month of July, whether it is an event the youth group hosts or a separate event. Friends are welcome, they'll need to submit a waiver as well. 


July 20th: Chris Kelly Highway Clean-Up

We commit to cleaning up both sides from Hwy 79 to Carl Stern through Keep Hutto Beautiful and due to COVID,

we haven't gone out to clean up in almost 2 years! 


The commitment is about 2 hours from 8:30 AM - 10:30 AM. Please meet at the Dutch Brother parking lot to gather, pass out materials, and grab drinks, before breaking off into two halves to walk both sides of the road together. The more people we have, the faster it will go! 


We still need a few adult volunteers to come to assist, so if you're EIM trained and want to tag along, please let me know! 


Please bring a consent form when you arrive Wednesday morning.


July 27th: Poinsettia Planting at Downhome Ranch

10 Volunteers needed from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM


We will carpool from St. Patrick as a group to Downhome Ranch, leaving at 7:30 AM.

If you'd like to drop your child off there at the ranch, it's not a far drive to Elgin. 


After our service project is done, we'll head back to the church for lunch and a movie! 


We still need a few adult volunteers to come to assist with the service project, as well as with food prep.

If you're EIM trained and want to tag along or help prepare food, please let me know!

August Social Event



Outlaw Paintball

Join us as we take to the battlefield for some friendly PaintBall battles! 

On August 13th, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM, join us at Outlaw Paintball for a Back to School bash! 
The price per student will be $20 and every student will need to submit a Parental Consent form AND a Paint Ball Release Form. 

The price will include the paintball marker, mask, and paintballs. We will also provide food and snacks!

Friends are welcome, they'll just need to submit a waiver as well.

Quest (Pre-K through 5th) Summer Events
