Opening Prayer
Review last week’s minutes.
Food and Beverage - Gracie will reach out to Hank T to see what needs to be done to acquire a Liquor License and if he knows who to contact for Security Guards.
Tickets - We can only sell tickets to the event online right now until we get approval for the date of the Bingo event from the Texas Lottery Commission.
Supplies - Chris C stated that they sold about 200 regular 10 pack books for the 8/10 Bingo Game and about 250 sheets for the 50/50 games.
Mini Raffle - We still need help on 09/2/2018 Sunday 5pm Mass. If you can help, reach out to Jan (janice.swope@sbcglobal.net).
Bingo - 8/10 Report - See Supplies above. We did run out of places to sit. We will see what we do for the 09/14 game, but it looks like we will need to borrow table from St. Elizabeth’s. In which case, we will need to coordinate pick up and drop off.
Donated Items - We continue to send request and receive donations. Southside Market gave us $30 GC. Bed, Bath, and Beyond will give us a $25 GC. Kate volunteered to use the card to purchase items at the Employee Week (last week in September) she has already purchase 2 HippoFloating Pool chairs at an extremely reduced price.
Day of Setup Timeline -
Friday after 8:30am Mass and 9am Breakfast
We will start setting up tables in the Naive of the Church.
Teresa H will check with Nancy to see if RE is having any classes in the Classroom D or E. If not, we can use one of those rooms to store donations.
Olivia will check with Diane and Jan to see who coordinated Auction item setup.
We will use the following identification system:
L# - Live Auction Item
S# - Silent Auction Item
B# - Bucket Raffle Item.
We will start putting packets together the week of Oct 6-8. Packets will include:
Bid #, Rules, Bingo Sheets, daubers, etc…
We discussed that games 1 through 8 would be regular Bingo games, game 9 will be a + (cross), and game 10 will be a blackout.
We will need Volunteers for - In addition to previous volunteers, we need 2 strong individuals to change out food trays. Chris will coordinate food with the knights.
