Fall Fundraiser Planning Meeting Minutes

Attendees: Mark and Brenda S, Teresa H, Kate S, John M, Patty S, Chris C, Olivia M
Food and Beverage - Mark will reach out to Bobby to see if the Knights can help
Tickets - Tickets can be sold online since it is a $50 Dinner ticket only and not a Raffle ticket.
Supplies - Casino contract includes all Casino Supplies. Bingo Supplies are about $400 and that includes 200 Dabbers, 1200 -10pack Bingo cards, Table top Bingo cage. Still need table decorations.
Bingo - Discussion about whether to include Prize money with Crosses for each Bingo game. WIth Game 10 being a larger denomination. Next Meeting the team will discuss each game prize monetary level.
Casino - Initial quote from Casino Company for 4 games (Poker/Texas Hold ‘em, Black Jack, Roulette, Craps) - $1750. This can accommodate roughly 45 people. The quote includes Professional Dealers in Tux, as well as Chips, Cards, Raffle Tickets, Funny Money, etc...and any other items needed to run the Casino. Next Meeting the team will vote on whether to use Professional Casino Company.
Live Auction - There was discussion as to whether Casino Winnings (Chips) could be used to bid on Live Auction Items or If this would be Cash/Check/Card only. The concern was that allowing individuals to use chips to purchase live auction items was legally “allowed”. (See attached Planning Guide from Casino Rental Company - This is something that they have done in the past and may be able to answer the legality. Olivia will research further.) The team discussed potentially adding a Bucket Raffle, where individuals could convert their Casino winnings for raffle tickets to place in buckets. AND still have a Live Auction separately. Next Meeting Team will continue this discussion.
