The Art & Environment Meet & Greet originally scheduled for February 6th has been moved to Saturday, February 13, at 9:30 am, due to a scheduling conflict. We hope you can make it.
Are you looking for a way to get more involved in your church with your family without making a weekly commitment? Do you enjoy telling a story, preparing your home for visitors, and have a desire to learn more about the liturgy? Then Art and Environment is the ministry for you.
We are having a meet and greet meeting on February 13th starting at 9:30am at the church (in Classroom A) to introduce you to the new ministry lead, give a brief overview of expectations and to get to know each other with some coffee and sweets. Please sign up via Flocknote and let us know if you can make it.
Kathy Layfield has graciously offered to take on the Art and Environment. She comes to us with over 40 years experience in the ministry! She has not only owned/operated her own greenhouse and floral shop but her floral designs have brought her all over the United States winning several awards and have been featured on TV and in many books.
She loves to bring the scripture alive by telling a story on the altar and is looking forward to new ideas to help accomplish that.
She is looking to streamline the process for the most efficient use of time, making this a great ministry for not only individuals but for families looking to get closer to the liturgy.
We look forward to seeing as many faces as possible *masks required* next Saturday!
