Middle School Youth Ministry

Welcome to Middle School Youth Ministry!!!

CIA, Catholics in Action is the name for our ministry for adolescents!  We hope to focus on practical ways to live out our Catholic faith and gain a deeper understanding of the Bible and Tradition.

Our theme verse is 1 Timothy 4:12, "Let no one have contempt for your youth, but set an example for those who believe, in speech, conduct, love, faith, and purity."

We will meet on Sundays from 3:00pm-4:45pm before the Sunday 5pm Mass.

Good news!  We have upgraded our RE Online Registration page to enable credit card and electronic check payments on the same page as the registration form. Please register your students online.  You can pay immediately, or you can choose to pay later and receive a link to your personal payment page.
 
We will be using Remind to keep everyone in the loop about all the cool things we've got planned.  Remind group:  https://www.remind.com/join/sphcia

We will message the parents primarily for updating the parents on logistics issues, such as upcoming events, reminders for permission slips and/or payments needed, volunteers needed (such as drivers for a service project offsite or chaperones needed for a retreat), etc., and parents will also receive copies of all messages sent to students.

We will message the entire group with reminders about some of those things, as well as weekly messages about the lessons coming up, Bible verses to read before CIA starts, encouragement, and things to bring for each CIA night.  We will be using Bibles pretty much every week we meet, so plan to bring it with you when you come.
