Morning SPY - Trick-or-Treat for a Cause (Service project)

This Sunday is our first Morning SPY of the year. The teens should be at the Church and ready to begin by 8:30am. We will have some breakfast, including Mrs. Jo's Famous Oatmeal. Come before 8:30 to get some food! We will attend Mass together as a group.
After Mass we do our annual "Trick-or-Treat for a Cause" service project. For this, we send the teens out in groups to go through some Hutto neighborhoods to collect food and non-perishable items for the Hutto Food Pantry. This is a great way to help the needy in our area and it counts a service hours for Confirmation.
After Mass, but before we send them out, we will have pizza. That usually arrives a bit after 11:30. We send the teens out after eating. We have the drivers bring everyone back by 1:30. Once we get back to the Church we pile everything on tables to get a good group picture. And then a few teens and adults help take everything to the Hutto Food Pantry where we weigh it to get a tally of what we brought in.
This year I need a few parents to help drive and chaperone the teens while they are going door-to-door. Fr. Adrian called a Liturgy Committee meeting for after Mass Sunday. And several of the Core Team are supposed to be at that meeting so they can't drive the teens. Can you help out? I need to know before Sunday so I know if we have enough drivers. You can respond to the Remind mesage and let me know. Or you can call me at 512.431.8642.
