What is the Sacrament of Confirmation? It is a sacrament that deepens our faith and allows us to see how the Holy Spirit is working in our life! The goal of the confirmation process is for every teen to ask questions, search for God in their own individual way; coming to their own understanding of how much God loves them and how the Catholic Church helps them grow closer to God through the mass, sacraments and the community.
Confirmation Process is two years and is for teens from the 9th-12th grades.
1st year of preparation is attending SPY on Sundays (yes, you must register)
2nd year of preparation is attending SPY on Sundays and attending a Confirmation class on Monday's during the school year.
You will receive a schedule at that time.
In the 2nd year of the Confirmation Process, your teen will be asked to attend a Retreat - The dates are April 7 & 8. It is at St. Mary's in Taylor, Texas and teens will go home at night and return the next day. You will receive more information at the parent/teen session.
